In order to distribute information quickly and to make them permanent available at their destination, DisplayOp applies an innovative intelligent caching method. If media are uploaded over the DisplayOp web frontend, a centralized Service makes sure that they are distributed at exactly the displays on which they should be displayed. This happens by means of different distributor systems which you can install freely. The user don’t have to intervene, the system streams the content autonomous in the background. The medias are catched on the distributor until the datas on the centralized server are updated or deleted.
All media have to be saved on the centralized DisplayOp server only one time. The players get the contents automatically as soon as they are integrated in a special job. This saves time and optimizes the existing bandwidth. With the intelligent caching system it is possible to keep media at various locations in the world available. In addition - you are able to update and to manage them. The DisplayOp server can work with unlimited shares / distributors. Shares can be installed either on a dedicated system, on a centralized server or on a player.
The DisplayOp player collects the media directly from the assigned distributor. Thus, it is not necessary to start a direct connection to the server. This discharges the server. In the centralized DisplayOp administrator console you can enter shares every time. If data volume increase too much or is a share offline, this will be logged and displayed.
